My son is 16 years old; he plays professional basketball. He had an inquiry. Our doctor at home said my son had to undergo ACL reconstruction surgery and we finally decided to go ahead.

We had been considering different options and the decision to do the surgery abroad required more scrutiny. My son needed the surgery to be performed quickly, his injury made a huge impact on his life and after seeing surgeon in the UK we realised that although surgery was urgent he would have to wait. The patient coordinator contacted me immediately, answered all my questions and organised everything for us. I just had to book the flights myself; the rest was taken care of. We were met at the airport and brought to the hotel; next morning they brought us to the clinic, which looks like a premium class private clinic in the UK, all new and smart. There was a lovely private patient room, which looked more like a hotel room. The same day my son had surgery. Dr. Wissam Raphael did an excellent job. Everything went very well.

We are back home and my son is undergoing rehabilitation.
